15mm UV Competition Chenille

A deadly new chenille has been born... we decided to rewrite the rules with chenilles for the competition scene having talked to European and UK stillwater professionals. We designed an ultra thin density chenille which is highly transluscent with a bonded core combining the PET fibres with a mobile polyester support, to that we then added UV fibres to add that extra edge to your flies. The result is a highly mobile base material which can be wound more times around the hook than other chenilles. As a result it allows multi-color blobs and lures to be tied in a huge combination of colors, you can twist multiple colors of chenille because of the thin fritz density to create color combinations perfect for different stillwaters and light conditions. The mobility, transluscent  thinner has lead to creation of a deadly an successful chenille or fritz perfect for stillwaters and the competition scene.

We then used Semperfli's dye team looking at the top colors in the competition scene added them to our fritz and created a few deadly new colors of our own, from biscuit, mohito and custard cream to fag end... that color of disgarded cigarette butts that always seem to attract fish. With our incredible dye team we do not create special one off colors, you get the perfect color repeated every batch unlike hand dyed chenilles.
