"The Carp-It Bomb is an evolution of the Rio Getter, but I wanted a bigger, beefed-up version for sight fishing carp, drum and bass in some of our shallow flats in the Texas Hill Country. Cohen's Carp dub is the critical component here, trapping air and allowing for a bubbling effect that mimics natural forage. It's turned into my number one "all-around" fly that I always have on me.
This fly has also performed very well on trout fisheries with a large damsel/dragonfly population, such as locations in Argentina, as well as a few solid days on the Gulf Coast for redfish."
