Around the time I first started tying the Diabaetis Perdigon, I decided to use some of the same materials to make a different tag style nymph. I also happened to watch one of the Space-X rocket launches with my son and thought immediately of a tag style nymph blasting off the launch pad. The specific color combination of the Space-X nymph is a favorite of mine in tannin stained water but it has worked surprisingly well in clear water in the dead of winter as well.
